Shared Care / Double the Doula / Two-la... whatever you want to call it, we're in!

Sometimes the stars align, and you find someone who just gets it. That’s what happened with Claire from @birthingparentsclub. We crossed paths as two doulas walking similar roads—deeply committed to real-world, grounded, non-fluffy support for birthing families.
And it turns out, when you put two experienced doulas in one corner, magic can happen.
So we decided to make it official(ish). We're now offering shared care for families who want solid, wrap-around support from two people who really show up.
What’s shared care? It means you get the benefit of both of us. Two doulas, one team. We both get to know you during pregnancy. We both support your antenatal appointments, messages, worries-at-10pm (we’ve all been there), and the big day itself.
Whoever is on call when labour begins will be the one at your side—but you’ll already know and trust us both. And postnatally, we’re both there, too.
Why do we do it this way? Because birth isn’t predictable. Because families need continuity and flexibility. And because—let’s be honest—we’re better together.
Claire brings the calm, the insight, the deep knowledge of birthing parents’ needs. I bring my grounded energy, advocacy, and that “say-it-like-it-is-but-still-warm” vibe. We’re both real-life mums, experienced doulas, and passionate about making sure you feel in charge, supported, and seen.
This is support that’s steady and shared. Not fluffy. Not prescriptive. Just real.
If you want to know more, ask us. We’d love to chat—whether you're planning a homebirth, a hospital birth, or still figuring it all out. We’ll walk with you. Together.
With love and tea (always tea), Julia x
